In partnership with Tarrant County Child Protective Services, NewDay is providing Family Finding services for children in the child welfare system.  Working side by side with the case workers, NewDay specialists locate and engage extended family.

The goal is to provide a support system of caring adult connections to the child, as well as broaden the alternative placement options for CPS.   NewDay is trained in the Family Finding technique by founder of the program, Kevin Campbell.   Designed specifically for children in the child welfare system, it is proving to make a difference in the future of the child’s life; and hopefully, make a difference in the future of child welfare.
