NewDay programs help families by giving them tools and training to resolve conflict and coach them towards cooperative parenting. Topics include: Anger Management; Case Mediation; Co-parenting Skills; Individual Counseling and Reconciliation.
HEALTHY PARENTING |
NewDay works with fathers and mothers to maximize their influence in the lives of their children. These programs help parents gain a better understanding of their value; relieve tension on their children through better co-parenting; control themselves in times of stress, make better decisions and resolve conflict. Classes include FOCUS (Families Offering Children Unfailing Support) for fathers and mothers.
CHAPLAINCY |
NewDay Chaplains provide pastoral care and support for families/children in each of these locations: Tarrant County Family Law Center and Tarrant County Juvenile Justice/Detention Center.
A Mentor-Navigator is an individual with training and experience who is dedicated to helping mothers and fathers advance from their current situation to a higher level of self-sufficiency. The process includes a variety of strategies, techniques and resources designed to build on participants’ strengths and overcome their barriers. Mentor-Navigators offer free services that help mothers and fathers reach their full potential as parents, providers and partners in relation to the care and well-being of their children.
